MASS Notan - Dark vs. Light Design (Termed from Japanese block prints). Graphic interpretation, without the effect of light, or ambient effect.
FORM - Chiaroscuro - Light vs. Shadow design. Realistic interpretation.
Chiaroscuro - Division of light and shadow
Notan - Division of Dark and Light - can be relative to viewer's eye
